After all the diggers cam back from war they where granted land for the service they have given, many diggers where given land in Western Australia to become farmers. They had cleared out all the crops and made the land barren. Now the Emu likes to head from in land toward the coast, so they can lay their eggs on the soft ground and away from predators. However, with all the land clearing, the emu’s decided the new farm lands where a great place to start laying there eggs. The mass population of emus started killing off crops and farmers where becoming angry. The famers called out to the ADF to bring in weapons to cull the emus so they would leave.
